Worship Service begins @ 10:30 a.m.
The church is located at the corner of Park Avenue and Spring Street. Our parking lot is in the rear, at the corner of Spring Street and Tenney Avenue. Overflow parking is across the street at the Amherst Public Library.

Our Heritage
Because of a sea captain, circuit riding preachers and the introduction of Sunday School, we have Amherst UMC today; the first and oldest organized church in Amherst township. Over the past 190 years Methodists have gathered to worship in Amherst. The building has changed, the name has changed, but the church’s strong desire to share and celebrate God’s love for everyone has remained the same.
