Worship Service begins @ 10:30 a.m.

The church is located at the corner of Park Avenue and Spring Street.  Our parking lot is in the rear, at the corner of Spring Street and Tenney Avenue.  Overflow parking is across the street at the Amherst Public Library.

FAQ for New Visitors

How do I need to dress?
You will find people in suits, dresses and jeans. Come in what makes you comfortable.
What time are services?
Sunday service is at 10:30 am. Arrive a few minutes early to find a seat and get settled.
Where do I go?
Entrance is through a side entrance off Spring Street or through the main entrance directly off the church parking lot.
Once in the building where do I go?
After entering the building, there are steps up to the sanctuary and down to the restrooms and Sunday school rooms. Restrooms are available on the sanctuary and lower levels.
What is the worship service like?
Our service is traditional, but always open to change and influenced by the need to learn and develop as Christians.
Do I have to know a lot about the Bible or religion to understand the service?
No, the service is developed for all persons. The importance is always to grow no matter. one’s starting point.
Is there bible study?
Periodically throughout the year Bible study is offered with the Pastor.
When is Communion?
Holy Communion is the first Sunday of each month. We celebrate an open table, all those seeking Christ may take Communion.
Are there accommodations for persons with disabilities?
Yes, there is an elevator to the left when entering through the main entrance. It can take persons to the upper and lower levels. All restrooms have handicap accessibility. There are also comfortable armchairs in the rear of the sanctuary. Audio assist devices are also available.
Is there opportunity to meet the Pastor and others
After the service we have “Coffe and Snack Time”. This is a great time to meet others along with the Pastor.
What is your congregation like?
We average around 35 to 60 people each Sunday. We are caring and loving people that want to share our church with others whether they are just visiting or looking for a church home.
